A whispered
"What I want for Christmas"
with a new Denver native. |
Santa is as real as the sun
rising in the morning.He is
as real as winter follows fall, and
summer follows spring. We may not
always be able to see, touch, or
hear something, but that doesn't
stop the fact that it is real. You
can't see the oxygen in the air, but
if it wasn't there, neither would we
be here.
Santa
is recognized world wide. He has
been known by many names, such as
Kris Kringle, St.Nick,
Father Christmas, Papa Noel,
and many more. It is said that he
has an obscure place that he dwells
in at the North Pole. Although this
has never been proven, the people of
Phoenix, Arizona know that he has a
place there too.
Santa
has been seen lighting the lights at
the Ritz Carlton with the Governor,
the Mayor, or the Phoenix Suns
Gorilla; at the Phoenician with
several elves, during their ice
cream social and also their tree
lighting; and parading down Mill
Ave. in Tempe, AZ. for the festival
of lights. Santa has made guest
appearances on all the major TV
channels in Phoenix, and appeared on
the Arizona Republic front page and
business section. He has been in the
New Times, the Ahwatukee news, and
the Independent papers in several
adjoining cities. It is unusual for
him not to be in a magazine printed
in Phoenix! The Costco Connection,
the Albuequerque News, the Rancher
Magazine, the Scottsdale Scene
Magazine, Phoenix Magazine and the
Scottsdale Life Magazine are just a
few publications that have had
articles about him.
Santa
has appeared in Photo works for many
Christmas cards for photographers
and Harkins Theaters, as well as
commercials for car dealers, grocery
stores, department stores, sports
teams, training films, and
television stations.
Santa
enjoys his time the most, when he is
making children laugh and enjoying
the spirit of Christmas in
hospitals, churches, schools,
pre-schools, at company parties, and
even private homes. Included on this
page are just some of those events
in pictures (click to enlarge).
